Juan moved to the US from Colombia at the age of 16 and worked his way up in the furniture industry. In 2011, he opened Brickell Mattress, and in December of 2016, Brickell Mattress officially partnered with Hästens, bringing the in-store Sleep Spa Experience to Miami.

This partnership has been a resounding success, and Brickell Mattress even earned the “highest percentage growth from 2017 to 2018” award from Hästens. Juan and his team opened a dedicated Hästens store in the Miami Design District, bringing the power and passion of Hästens to the market.

Juan has achieved major success with the help of his team, including Maria Mesa, who runs the Brickell location, and Power Collective PR, who have helped to build brand awareness in the Miami Market.

Juan credits Hästens for providing him with the highest quality sleep experience, and for the amazing opportunities he has been given to meet influential people from all around the world. He is passionate about helping people sleep better, and believes that this is the key to a better and more peaceful life.

Juan’s vision is to open a new Hästens store every year, and his focus going forward is to seek strategic expansion opportunities, oversee sales and management teams, and create business development opportunities within his territory.
