In case you missed the news last year, Swedish mattress company Hästens quietly contributed its decades of sleep knowledge into the creation of a new hotel that will finally begin to welcome guests this year. However, unlike your standard definition of a hotel, this one is more along the lines of a sleep spa, with a strong focus on ensuring guests receive a restful night’s sleep.

Despite this being Hästens’ first foray into such a type of venture, the Hästens Sleep Spa isn’t in or anywhere near its home of Stockholm. Instead, it is located in Coimbra, Portugal, a city nestled between Porto and Lisbon.
